Terms of Service
Welcome to Seadog Hosting (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using our hosting, website design, or related services, you (“client”, “you”, “your”) agree to the following Terms of Service.
1. Service Overview
We provide web hosting, domain management, and website design services for small businesses. Our goal is to deliver reliable, secure, and friendly NZ-based hosting.
2. Account and Payment
All services are billed monthly or annually in NZD. Payment must be made in advance for each billing period. Late payments may result in temporary suspension of services. Prices may change with 30 days’ notice.
3. Hosting Usage
You agree not to use our servers for illegal, abusive, or harmful activities. Prohibited content includes spam, malware, adult material, hate speech, or anything violating NZ law. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
4. Data and Backups
We perform regular backups, but clients are responsible for maintaining their own copies. We are not liable for data loss caused by client actions, third-party software, or external attacks.
5. Support
Standard support is available via email during business hours. Premium plans include priority support and faster response times. We aim to resolve issues promptly but cannot guarantee specific resolution times.
6. Website Design Services
Design fees are quoted per project and payable before launch. Minor revisions are included; major redesigns may incur additional charges. You retain ownership of your content; we retain rights to design elements until full payment is received.
7. Service Availability
We strive for 99% uptime. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance. We are not responsible for downtime caused by external providers (for example, Cloudflare or ISPs).
8. Liability
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the previous month.
9. Termination
You may cancel anytime with 30 days’ notice. We may terminate service for non-payment or breach of terms. Upon termination, all hosted data will be deleted after 14 days.
10. Privacy
We respect your privacy and comply with NZ privacy laws. Personal data is used only for service delivery and billing. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the new Terms.
